D-660/D-661 Penetrating Agent
- Model: D-660/D-661
Physical Properties
Main Components: surfactants and hydrophilic solvents
Active Content (%): 14.6 ± 1
Characteristic
1. D-660 was originally developed to improve penetration of antiquing resin into leather. Because of its excellent penetrating action, it is also widely used on leather with poor absorbency to help dyes, coatings, and resins penetrate the surface.
2. The recommended dosage is no more than 10–20% of the coating amount. Excessive use may harden the leather surface.
3. D-660 is formulated from nonionic surfactants and provides good acid and alkali stability across the full pH range.
4. Because it contains hydrophilic solvents, add it only after the resin, water, coating, and other additives have been thoroughly mixed.
Instructions for Use Precautions
Recommended dosage should not exceed 10–20% of the coating amount. Excessive use may harden the leather surface. Add only after the resin, water, coating, and other additives have been thoroughly mixed.
